The main splatter in the production logo was a brush pack downloaded from the Internet for Photoshop. We downloaded the brushes then loaded them in Photoshop to use.
We looked through the pack of 20 brushes to find the most suitable for the logo. Once we had picked a brush we printed it on the blank canvas and added the text.
Once this was done, we used the magic wand tool to select the background, then inverted the selection to select the logo its self.

Once this was done, we went to Edit, Define Brush Preset and then named to brush. From here we can print the logo on our future publications in any colour to suite the place it is going.
We saved the canvas as a jpeg so it could be opened in any Photoshop, meaning we can make a brush wherever we go, rather than only having it available on the same Mac.
