Evidence Of Request For Permission
This is the screen shot of our request to use Our Last Night's song Fate in our coursework. We used Instagram to get this screen grab, as we have had communication on this platform before, so we thought that we would maybe get a reply, instead of just a request for permission. The lead singer of this band, Trevor later replied with a 'Sure man', so not only have we requested to use their song, we have permission. The second screenshot was an email to Matt Wentworth (Guitarist) asking for permission. We'd already asked Trevor however for the purpose of this piece we asked two members. Although, we didn't get a reply from Matt Wentworth, but we'd had a reply from Trevor. We couldn't have asked the record label, as they are no longer signed to any label. Everything they product now is self-released. So we thought that it would be then up to the band themselves, to give the rights to whoever asked, like we did.
